Managing weather warnings!

There is nothing in employment legislation about snow! Closures and how you organise for the weather are at the discretion of the Project Board. If you require further information on this ask your Support Worker to help the Project to develop a policy so that everyone is aware of how a Project closure will affect employees, volunteers and services.

The following links from the National Children’s Nursery Association and others has a good outline of the kind of questions that a Project could usefully include in such a policy. We are keeping an eye out for other examples. Let us know if your Project has a good one that we could share with others.
